Privacy Policy

Last updated 16 August 2026

This policy explains what personal information Hoback Partners LLC (“Hoback Partners,” “we,” “us”) collects through hobackpartners.com, how we use it, and the choices available to you. It applies to this website only. Information you provide to us in the course of a client engagement is governed by that engagement’s terms, not by this policy.

Information we collect

We collect only what you choose to give us, plus limited technical information generated automatically when any browser requests a web page.

  • Information you submit. If you use our contact form or write to us directly, we receive your name, organization, email address, and whatever you choose to include in your message.
  • Technical information. Our hosting provider records standard server log data, which typically includes IP address, browser type, referring page, and the date and time of the request.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies. We do not use analytics services, advertising pixels, session tracking, or third-party embeds that profile visitors across websites. If that changes, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent before any non-essential technology is used.

Third parties

Typefaces on this site are served by Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address in order to deliver the font files. Google’s handling of that data is governed by its own privacy policy. We use no other third-party service that receives visitor data.

How we use your information

We use information you submit to respond to your enquiry, to evaluate a possible engagement, and to keep an ordinary business record of our correspondence. We use technical log data to operate and secure the site.

We do not sell personal information, we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing, and we do not send marketing email to people who contact us unless they ask us to.

Legal bases

Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and operating a secure website, and on steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract.

Disclosure

We disclose personal information only to service providers who host or transmit it on our behalf and are bound to protect it, to professional advisers where necessary, and where we are required to do so by law or to establish or defend legal claims.

Retention

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of business communications, and then delete it. Server logs are retained for a short period by our hosting provider.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and we take reasonable measures to protect information in our possession. No method of transmission or storage is entirely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send confidential or sensitive information through the contact form; ask us for a secure channel instead.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to receive it in a portable format. California residents have rights under the CCPA, including the right to know and the right to delete, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.

To exercise any of these rights, write to privacy@hobackpartners.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Children

This site is directed to businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised.
